# Can I block off a chunk of time on a one-off basis?

### Hey Boss 👋

The easiest way to block off a number of days on a one-off basis is to set up a **New Time Off Event** which can be accessed from your **Calendar**.

If you have a number of dates that you would like to block off, you can also mark dates as **Busy** on your synced external calendar. Then BLAB will read the dates as unavailable and those dates will not appear available for booking by your clients.

### Do it yourself, here's the guide 😎

1. From your top navigation board, click on **Calendar.**
2. In this screen, you'll find the **New Time Off Event** button that you should click.

3. Now you'll see a small pop-up screen appear where you'll be able to set your specific time off.

**That's it!**

You won't be able to get booked during that time. One less thing to worry about!
