# Can I block several hours of a day that I am not available?

### Hey Boss 👋

Sometimes we need to disconnect from our usual schedule to do some extra activity like attending a doctor's appointment, picking someone up from the airport, or attending a child's soccer game.

For those special occasions, we don't want to change our whole availability and the hassle that comes with it. That's why we have developed the **Time off event**, with which you can arrange your calendar in the way that suits you best.

Bosses can now select specific hours of the day that they will be unavailable on a one-off basis so you don't get any bookings you won't be able to attend.

### It's super easy but here's a guide 😎

1. From your top navigation bar, select **Calendar**.
2. In this screen, you'll find the **New Time Off Event** button that you should click

3. Now you'll see a small pop-up screen appear where you'll be able to set your specific time off.

**That's it!** You won't be able to get booked during that time. One less thing to worry about!
