# Configure White Label Site Domain

This feature is available on the White Label plan and higher.

The default domain will be listed there.

You can connect a custom domain for sites published under your account. Each site will use their site name as the subdomain with this domain.

**Note**

SSLs aren't provided for Default or White Label Site Domains, unless they are on custom.

# Connect Custom Sites Domain

To connect a custom sites domain:

1. From the Dashboard, click **White Label** and select **Custom Domains**.
2. In the side panel, select **Sites**.
3. Next to **Connect your own domain**, click **Connect**.
4. Enter your own subdomain.

**Note**

We recommend using a subdomain of the domain that you own, for example `sites.example.com`. The subdomain needs to be unique, meaning you cannot reuse a subdomain that is already in use. For example, if your site is live with `www.yoursite.com`, then you cannot use [www](http://www). as the subdomain.

5. Click **Next**.

6. Navigate to your hosting provider’s DNS settings and add the records in the table as new CNAME records.

**Note**

When adding records, they should be created under sites.domain.com so that the records are `*sites.domain.com`.

7. Return to the platform and click **Save**.

8. (*Optional*) If your account currently has published sites using the existing default site domain, you need to confirm that you wish to change their domains by clicking **Continue**. Or, you can opt to keep their domains the same and use the new domain for future sites.

Until your custom sites domain is fully propagated, some of your published sites domains may not load. It can take up to 72 hours for your DNS settings to fully propagate.

# Revert to Default Site Domain

You can revert back to the default site domain after your custom domain has been connected.

To revert to the default site domain:

1. From the Dashboard, click **White Label** and select **Custom Domain**.
2. In the side panel, select **Sites**.
3. In the Live Sites section, click the three **horizontal dots icon** and select **Revert to default**.
4. Click **Switch to Default**.

After clicking revert, your custom domain will no longer work. If your clients already have access, you will need to send your default site URL to your clients.

# Change Custom Site Domain

You can change your site domain after the custom domain has been connected.

To change your site domain:

1. From the Dashboard, click **White Label** and select **Custom Domain**.
2. In the side panel, select **Sites**.
3. In the Sites section, click the three **horizontal dots icon** and select **Change**.
4. Enter a new subdomain.
5. Click **Next**.
6. Click **Save**.
7. (*Optional*) If your account currently has published sites using the existing site domain, you need to confirm that you wish to change their domain by clicking **Continue**. Or, you can opt to use the new site domain for future sites only.
