# Do I need my own domain to sign up for Book Like a Boss?

### Hey Boss 👋

You do **NOT** need to own a domain prior to setting up your Book like a Boss account.

When setting up your account, we'll ask you to select what your Book Like A Boss domain will be. This is usually your name, brand name, or company name.

Using that name, we'll generate your own URL for you that will look like [www.book.me/xxxx](http://www.book.me/xxxx) or [www.book.us/xxxx](http://www.book.us/xxxx)

Each appointment, service, product, event, or custom page will have its own URL string and will appear as [www.book.me/xxxx/YourProdcut](http://www.book.me/xxxx/YourProdcut)

If you already own a domain, you may use it instead for your booking page, but it's not a requirement to set up an account.
