# How can I make a custom field question required?

### Hey Boss 👋

Sometimes you need some extra information before your attendee shows up for your call, but it's a bummer when you list out each question in your booking form just to have your attendee skip it, leaving you without the juicy details you need 🤦‍♀️

Thankfully, each of the custom fields in your booking form can be set to '*Required'*, requiring your attendee to complete the question before placing their booking.

To require attendees to answer or fill out your custom fields, just tick the '*Required*' box.

|| Note: To give your attendee the freedom to skip or not fill out a field, simply leave the 'Required' box unchecked.

If later you wish to give attendees the option to skip filling out a Required field, just return to the field in your booking form settings and untick the '*Required*' box.
