# How to Create an Appointment

In this article, we will explore how to create an appointment with BLAB, and discuss how this process can streamline your appointment scheduling process and improve customer satisfaction.

1. From the left-hand menu, click **Booking Pages**, then select **Appointments**.
2. Click **+ New Appointment** in the top-right corner.

3. Fill in the basic info regarding this appointment, such as title, description, and duration. Hit **Save.**

4. In this next screen, you can customize your appointment even further, and do things like:

* Set up different durations
* Change the padding between meetings
* Allow guests
* Limit the amount of bookings per day, and more
* Add **Custom fields** as needed, we offer options so that clients can easily enter all kinds of information you might need such as: phone number, dates, file upload, checkboxes and of course, text fields.

5. You can also customize the **Schedule** in which you can be booked if you prefer to set something different from your Global Settings. Just turn off the switch and add your preferred working hours.

6. Set up to 5 email or SMS **Reminders** for you and your customers before the booking so nothing goes missing.

7. Lastly, we suggest you use our **Followups** feature as a marketing tool and send extra information after the meeting which will improve the customer experience and possibly get you a new meeting!
